Privacy Policy

This policy explains what GoNesting (gonesting.com) stores when you use the website and the nesting app, why, and how to reach us about it. Questions go to info@gonesting.com.

1. Your account

  • Name and email address, used to sign you in and to contact you about your account.
  • Password, stored only as a secure hash. We cannot read it.
  • Profile photo, if you add one. It is re-drawn as a 320 × 320 image; nothing else from the original file is kept.
  • Plan (free or Pro) and the number of nesting runs you have used.
  • Email codes for signing up and changing your password, stored as hashes and valid for 15 minutes.

2. Your files and nesting jobs

  • DXF files you upload are stored on our server so the parts can be read and the export files built. Uploaded files are not deleted automatically; ask us and we will delete them.
  • Parts, sheets and layouts for the job you are working on are kept in your sign-in session on our server and in your browser’s local storage.
  • Nesting history: for each run we record the date, the settings, how many parts and sheets were involved, the material used and the time taken. This is what your history page and your run count are built from.
  • We do not share your drawings with anyone or use them for anything other than running GoNesting for you.

3. Contact form

If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, message and IP address, and email them to info@gonesting.com so we can reply.

4. Cookies and technical data

  • A session cookie keeps you signed in while you use the app.
  • If you tick “Remember me”, a remember-me cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
  • Your IP address is recorded with failed sign-in attempts, verification emails and contact messages to stop abuse. These rate-limit records are removed after about a day.
  • Our web server keeps standard logs, including IP addresses and errors, for security and troubleshooting.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Services involved

  • Hosting and email: the website, the app, your files and our mailbox are hosted by our hosting provider, Hostinger. Account emails and contact messages are sent through its mail servers.
  • Google Fonts and the Tailwind CSS CDN: the app’s pages load fonts and styles from these services, which therefore receive your IP address and browser details when you use the app. The public website serves its own fonts.
  • There is no payment processor: Pro is arranged directly with us by email.

6. Your choices

You can change your name, photo and password on your profile page. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and your uploaded files, email info@gonesting.com from the address on your account.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change what we store or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
